According to national surveys less than
half of all teachers rate themselves at a level of instructional
proficiency in technology. That is, they do not feel comfortable
teaching the skills necessary to integrate technology into their
lessons. In order to help
alleviate this problem, the Vision 4 The Future Consortium has written a
plan to continue and extend staff development for teachers. The plan
provides for technology integration training for a Trainig Cadre
composed of 6-7 teachers recruited from throughout LAUSD to develop a
professional development model to improve the integration of technology
in instruction.
Using the resources amassed through the
funding by CTAP, Vision 4 hopes to maximize the training of hundreds of
teachers in our consortium.
Below are the members of our expert Training
Cadre.
