Options for Students with Moderate to Severe Disabilities
 

 

It's never too early to start thinking about life after high school. There are many things students with moderate to severe disabilities can do while in school to prepare for adult life after high school. The following are some of the options that students/parents may want to participate in as part of their transition activities.

Community Based Instruction (CBI)

Community Based Instruction (CBI) is an instructional strategy designed to target the development of functional skills in natural, non-school based environments. It promotes greater independence at school and in the community.
