It requires paraprofessionals to show knowledge of and ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness. This website has been constructed to assist LAUSD employees affected by HR1 in understanding the new requirements and in finding out how they can meet those requirements.
