LAUSD GED Information

The LAUSD Division of Adult and Career Education, (The Career Division) has a central GED Testing Center in downtown Los Angeles. In addition, GED Preparation classes are available at most Community Adult Schools, Occupational and Skill Center in virtually all areas of Los Angeles.

If you’re not sure of your ability to pass the GED examination in English, Spanish or French, contact your nearest school, and ask for a GED Preparation class that will offer screening/practice tests that will both predict your ability to pass the GED exam in the near future and/or help develop skills in areas that seem in need of further preparation.

The Division of Adult and Career Education has been successfully preparing students for GED examination, and we would like to help you prepare for and ultimately achieve your GED certificate.

Testing times and locations are available in all areas of the city – days, evenings and Saturdays.

We applaud your efforts and encourage you to ACT NOW to accomplish your goals.

For further information, contact the LAUSD GED Testing Center at (213) 765-2573 between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – Monday through Friday.
