Domain versus SPEDTS User Names and Passwords

LAUSD has adopted increased network security measures for network application access.

To access SPEDTS, the prerequisite is to successfully sign-in to the LAUSD domain. If sign-in is bypassed or fails, SPEDTS WILL NOT load.

SPEDTS was developed by Deloitte & Touche and ITD.

PLEASE NOTE that the domain user name and password IS NOT the same as the SPEDTS user name and password (unless you have made your domain password the same as the SPEDTS one). Signing into your computer is a two step process.

When you first turn on your computer or restart, the initial screen you will see is for your DOMAIN user name and password. This is a prerequisite to load the SPEDTS program. DO NOT BYPASS this screen (if you are using Windows 95, 98 or Me). If you are running Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional, it is not possible to bypass the screen. Once again, the user name for the DOMAIN IS NOT the same as for the SPEDTS program. Please do not forget your DOMAIN user name and password.

User Name Example: first.last
Note: Domain User Name is In Lower Case Only.

The second step is where you load the SPEDTS application and enter the SPEDTS user name and password. Please do not forget your SPEDTS user name and password.

When loading the SPEDTS program, the user name for SPEDTS IS NOT the same as your DOMAIN user name.

User Name Example: FLAST
Note: F is the initial for your first name. SPEDTS User Name is in Upper Case Only.
