Our Stories: Discovering Our Diversity Through Theatre Lesson Plan
Students will explore the varied backgrounds of American citizens by researching their own family ancestry and the stories of how their ancestors immigrated to the United States. They will identify and develop a character based on their research; write a monologue for that character using Microsoft Word; and perform the monologue for classmates.
