Your Body's Highway Lesson Plan
Using inquiry-based lessons on the structure and function of the organs of the circulatory system, students will be able to describe the flow of blood through various organisms with emphasis on the human body. Students will be able to take data collected during classroom activities to statistically analyze it using Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. They will then write a summary that explains the classroom statistics.

  This web site was made by the American Medical Association. It has links to a general map of the human circulatory system and to links that clearly distinguish the arteries and veins.

  This web page has some nice diagrams and interesting facts that will interest almost every student.
• NOVA
  There are some great interactive exercises on this site that explain what happens as the blood moves through the heart and valves.
• Kids Health
  This is a great page to introduce the Circulatory System. It is written at a level that incorporates a wide range of reading and learning abilities.
