Purpose: The Annenberg Foundation supports K-12 education, culture and the arts, civic education, historic preservation and sustaining the institutions of Ameican public life.  The Foundation generally limits grants to those likely to produce beneficent change on a large scale.  It is open to collaboration with other philanthropic institutions.
Eligibility: The Foundation only considers organizations defined as a public charity and tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. * LAUSD does not currently have a 501(c)(3) but is a tax exempt organization.  Letters explaining the non-profit status is available for submition as a possible waiver. Subject Area: The arts, culture, historic preservation, community and civic life subject areas are of preference for funding.

Total Funds Available: More than $500 million are available for funding.
