| Purpose: |
The Bamford-Lahey Children’s
Foundation supports projects which have broad implications for the learning
and use of spoken language in children with developmental language disorders. |

| Eligibility: |
Foundation will only fund
projects that have broad implications for the learning and use of spoken
language in children with developmental language disorders. Projects for children with cognitive,
emotional, attention-deficit, motor, or sensory disorders as well as those
related to typical or bilingual language development, will not be considered
unless the project has implications for language learning among children who
do not have such problems.

$40,000 will be made available by the funders for
the purpose of this grant. |

If indirect costs are not
involved, the Foundation will consider making one or two $20,000 grants a
year through other non-profit organizations (e.g., universities, hospitals,
public schools) for projects that are directly related to its immediate
objectives.
