Two types of Support Providers - Know which one you are:

  • SSSP = School Site Selected per UTLA/District Agreement  (receives semesterly stipend)
  • NBC = NBCTs elect to fulfill part or all 92 hours as an SP (receives NBC remuneration)

Please note that the form must be signed by an administrator.  The form must be faxed to our office and approved before the requested substitute day.

It is the responsibility of the support provider to complete and fax the form, not the DI or DI Inductee.The FAX number to the District Intern BTSA office is (213) 241-5494 Attn: Lydia Vaia

 

There is one substitute day allowed per semester for each DI or DI Inductee to observe the support provider or any other exemplary teacher.  The substitute day may also be used to allow the support provider to observe the DI or DI Inductee.

Support Provider Match-Up Form - Required for all types of Support Providers -

The Match-Up Form must be completed by the Site Administrator at each school and submitted by November 20, 2009. Please make sure this form is sent in by the due date as this information is required to confirm work with Participating Teachers and District Interns!
