Parent Involvement
An important component of gifted/talented education is parent involvement. Local schools are required to provide opportunities for parents through meetings, conferences, bulletins, newsletters, or surveys to help plan, implement, and evaluate the program. At these meetings, parents are provided with information regarding legislation, State guidelines, and District policies affecting Gifted/Talented Programs. Parents are asked to complete an annual evaluation of the school program.
