As part of the Transportation Branch's "Safe Bus Riding Practices Program", a six-minute video program was developed to be shown to all students and assigned adult riders who assist in
supervising transported students. This is necessary since almost all students, at one time or another, will travel on a school bus for field trips, athletic contests, etc.

Schools must document that the program has been shown within the first ten weeks of the first semester by completing Form 78.280 - School Bus Safe Riding Practices Program. The certified document should be scanned and e-mailed to Transportation.Branch@lausd.net by December 5, 2008. It can also be mailed to the Transportation Branch Safety Center Office by school mail.
