Welcome to the Dance Team website. The purpose of the dance team is to suport to vision,goals, and growth of the
arts department at Washington Preparatory High School. Through artistic perception, creative expressin and discipline, each
Dance Team member creates and communicates meaning through the improvisation, composition and performance of dance.
The responsibilities of the entire Dance Team are diverse; supporting the student body at the Pep Rallies,
performing with the Marching Band, performing for the Performing Arts Showcase, representing the Fine Arts Department at
back to school night and other duties as assigned.
We are the ambassadors of dance. We will uphold our constitution and support the growth and direction of our team.
