| For the last fifteen years the Sunlaw Energy Corporation under the chairmanship of Robert N. Danziger, has been an Adopt-A-School Partner with Vernon City School. They have sponsored annual career days and art contests. They have funded schoolwide field trips to places such as Disneyland, the Los Angeles Arts and Crafts Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry (including the IMAX Theater). In addition they have funded numerous individual classroom curricular trips to a variety of locations. Their generosity and support have been beneficial to all areas of our school program. They have provided us with funds to purchase the following: technology equipment including a digital camera; additional emergency supplies and equipment to enhance our Earthquake Preparedness Program; sets of musical instruments, such as kalimbas and recorders to extend our Music Program; and an 8 ft. artificial Christmas tree complete with all the trimmings to highlight our Winter Holiday Celebrations. They have never asked for anything in return. Sunlaw's commitment is real and from the heart. |
