Verdugo Hills 35 point increase in its A.P.I. score

Monday, October 27, 2003 — Mrs. Dellepiane promised the students last spring that if their scores went up on the stats tests, she would kiss a pig. The official announcement came on October 24. Verdugo's API increased by 35 points! So, at the Homecoming Pep Rally, Mrs. Dellepiane kept her promise. She and all four assistant principals kissed Piglet before a cheering (and proud) student body.
