The Program
Verdugo Hills High School is proud to present a new and exciting Multimedia Academy. Our mission and goals guide our development of a curriculum with specific content and student performance. The classes offered feature animation training, computer graphics, special effects with drafting and engineering design, television broadcasting, and English and video production. All multi-media subjects are designed to consider the individual needs and interests of the students. We want to bring education to life through innovative teaching and through multimedia technologies that make possible powerful new kinds of learning and connect the classroom with the real world.
The Multimedia Academy goal is to graduate students who have positive attitudes, a sound academic base, comprehensive knowledge about real world technologies, and the ability to collaborate with others in a project-based environment.
