Who May Enroll-Enrollment Procedures
Any person 18 years of age or older may enroll. Enrollment in adult education programs of persons under 18 years of age who are attending high school is a voluntary educational option. Concurrent enrolled minors (secondary school students) must pre-arrange course selection through a Counselor/Career Advisor at their home high schools. Students may register in the adult school office for classes offered on the Venice Main campus. Students may enroll in classes at the branch sites at the class location on the day and time the class meets. Students must register in person at the school site.

Closing of Classes
The administration reserves the right to close a class if insufficient numbers of students enroll, or if the attendance falls below standards set by the Board of Education.

Refund Policy
Registration fee and class fee refunds are permitted prior to the third class meeting after enrollment or within 7 business days, which ever comes first, provided the blue registration fee receipt is returned. A drop fee of $10.00 is charged for every refund transaction. Identification (I.D.) fees ($2.00) are non-refundable.

Registration Fees
A registration fee of $20.00 for each term is payable in cash (no checks or credit cards) at the time of enrollment. Registration fee exemptions include ESL and Citizenship classes, persons 60 years of age or older, students attending classes approved by a high school counselor for diploma credit, concurrently enrolled minors, handicapped adults and adults receiving verified government assistance. A Venice C.A.S. student body card in the amount of $2.00 for the school year, July through June, may be purchased at the time of registration.
