Adults may earn a high school diploma through successful completion of 170 credits in the DIPLOMA PLUS Program. DIPLOMA PLUS offers courses in the subject areas of English, social studies, science, mathematics, and personal career development. Tests of General Education Development (GED) can be used in conjunction with 10 specific classes (English GED) or 14 specific classes (Spanish GED) to earn the high school diploma.
Adult independent Study (AIS) program provides students the option to complete high school diploma courses outside the regular classroom on their own time. A refundable deposit of $20.00 is required at the time of registration to cover the cost of books or materials. The Independent Study Instructor must be seen once a week to qualify for credit.
