As you look through each month of the school calendar (here), you will see a “Pillar of Good Character” listed at the beginning of each month. These are values that all our Van Gogh students and families should try to follow. For more information

Each month, we will recognize those students that have shown themselves to be great examples of that month’s pillar. Those selected as Student of the Month will be honored at a brief celebration on the dates listed. Re-enforcing these qualities at home will remind our students of how important they are to follow.

EVERY FRIDAY: School Spirit Day - Wear your favorite Van GoghWear OR something blue to show your school spirit.
College Day - 11/18/11: If you have a favorite college or university? USC? UCLA? Maybe where your parents went to school? Show us your school colors! Wear your favorite school's shirt or colors with pride.
Pajama Day - 1/13/12: Like your jammies so much that you wish you could wear them ALL the time? This is the day for you!!
Multiples Day - 2/14/12: Find a friend, or two, or three, or MORE and dress alike. Maybe you'll confuse your teachers!
Book Character Day - 3/2/12: Come dressed as your favorite character from a story you like to read, or wear a “Dr. Seuss” hat!
Waky Tacky Dress-up Day - 4/13/12: Do you have a plaid skirt, striped leggings, a purple tank top, a hawaiian shirt, pink high tops? This is the day to wear them...ALL...TOGETHER!
Sports Day 6-15-12: Do you play a sport? A football fan? A HUGE Dodgers or Angels fan? A Lakers or Clippers fan? Wear your favorite team or sport gear to show your support.
