Mrs. Sharon Cox

 

I was born in Dayton, Ohio. When I was two years old I moved to California. I am married and have three wonderful children. I became an elementary school teacher after my children were in school. I have taught for 10 years and have been the Assistant Principal at Sylvan Park for almost three years.

My specialties in education are Special Education and Administration. I have a Master's Degree in both areas. I love working wih children and families. I appreciate learning and I try to help others to become successful in learning also.

I believe in hard work and in working together for the success of everyone, while having fun too. I believe within every person is wonderful potential. I try my best to help each individual to see and develop to their fullest and achieve their personal goals.

I also love my free time. I have animals, including two horses. They keep me very busy as do family, friends, and work. I spend my free time reading, riding horses, camping, visiting new places, and enjoying my friends and family.

My future goals are to become a grandmother someday. I love children. I would like to further my education in many areas and may work on a Doctorate Degree in the near future. I would also like to travel and see and experience new places, meet new people, and enjoy and appreciate their different cultures.
