On Saturday, December 5, 2009 the LA's Best Boy's Basket Ball Team represented Rosemont Avenue spirit at Garfield High School for the LA's Best Elementary Boy's Basketball Tournament.

On the first of three games, the boys went head to head with Farmdale Elementary. After a very exciting and action packed game, Rosemont dramatically and heroically managed to score in the last 6 seconds, just barely edging Farmdale with a score of 12 - 11.

During their second game, they went head to head with Farmdale - yet again. In this game, Farmdale sought retribution for their previous loss; only to be steamrolled by our Basket Ball superstars with a final score of 22 - 8.

On their 3rd and final game, Rosemont advanced to play our neighbors at Gratts Elementary. Unfortunately, for Gratts, our players were already on a hot streak and had NO intentions of stopping. In the end, Gratts was unsuccessful in stopping the wrath of Rosemont's march to victory with a crushing score in favor of Rosemont, 18 - 4.

The Boy's Basketball team was one of two schools to win all three games on Saturday's tournament and have advanced into the Semi-Finals, which are taking place early January 2010
