Roscoe is a year-round school following the Concept 6 calendar.

Kindergarten Lunch ........................ (11:00 - 11:26 for PM) and (11:26 - 11:46 for AM)

Kindergarten Afternoon Session .............................................. 11:26 a.m. - 3:07 p.m.

School Hours - 7:45 a.m. - 2:39 p.m.

Grades 1 through 5 - MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY

Grades 1 through 5 - TUESDAYS ONLY

7:45 a.m - 1:39 p.m.

Fifteen minutes after dismissal, all gates other than the gate to Youth Services/LAs BEST area will be locked; all children will be sent to the after school playground where there is supervision.

Do not ask children to wait anywhere other than the playground after gates are locked.

AFTER SCHOOL PLAYGROUND ACTIVITIES: Beginning July 1, 2003, the playground is open and supervised from the dismissal of grades 1-5 until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

YOUTH SERVICES: The playground is closed on weekends and school or legal holidays.

Ms. Joanna Alvarez is the playground supervisor and organizes many activities for our students. This is a permissive program where participants arrive and leave at their own discretion.

LAs BEST: LAs BEST is an after school education and enrichment program that provides opportunities for our students to be involved in educational, recreational, and enriching activities.

Attendance is taken daily and participants must check in and check out each day with LAs BEST personnel. Please know that as we begin the new year each child must be registered again. Ms. Rosa Villalvazo is the LAs BEST supervisor.
