PALISADES ACTIVITY CARD (PAC):
Students are encouraged to purchase the PAC card which provides
them with the opportunity to participate in many extracurricular
activities (such as plays, dances and sporting events) for free
or at a reduced cost. The PAC also provides a discount on the purchase
of the school yearbook. The PAC costs $35 and is available at the
Palisades Student Store beginning the first day of school. All athletes,
leadership students, and cheerleaders are required to purchase PAC
COMPUTER MEAL PROGRAM:
Hot lunches are prepared on site and are available daily at a cost
of $1.50. Students may use a debit card, similar to an ATM card.
The card replaces tickets and the need to carry money every day
for cafeteria service. Parents and students may deposit money into
a student's account to use for meals and a la carte service. These
prepayments eliminate the inconvenience of carrying tickets and
cash daily and help provide a faster, more efficient meal service.
The system can also provide student account reports upon request.
If your child qualifies for FREE MEALS--your child will use the
card to receive free meals; REDUCED MEALS--use the card to receive
reduced meals and money should be deposited into their account;
PAID MEALS--use the card to receive paid meals and money should
be deposited into their account.
Parking is available for students traveling by bicycle, motorcycle,
or car. Bicycles are to be locked to the designated bike-rack in
the lot in front of the Administration Building (Building A). Motorcycles
are to be locked in their area in the same lot. Student vehicles
are to be locked and parked in the designated student lots (north
end of school and stadium lots). These lots are locked during the
school day. Students parking on campus must park in the student
lot or risk losing their privileges to park on campus.
