The Origami Club meets
every Friday at lunch to practice the ancient Japanese art of
folding paper. Our talented origami artisans are just as versatile
at folding geometric forms as they are at folding animals, and
frequently the more elaborate polyhedral
shapes are the more beautiful. The shapes of stellated, Platonic,
and open regular polyhedra have also proven to be an effective
fund-raiser; the finished origami is sold at school gatherings
to parents as ornaments and decorations.
For more on this topic, see the Polyhedra
Page.
