Ashley R. AwardOn September 23, Mark Haefele and Dr. Sharon Sekhon presented Mulholland Student, Ashley R, with her award in the photo / essay contest "Work in Southern California". The contest was held by the Studio for Southern California History. Ashley's picture was a collage taken at the Los Angeles Times book fair held at UCLA. Her essay expresses her appreciation of the work of various authors and her wish to some day become an author in her own right. She received a museum shirt, a book and a $250 check. |
