ESL Beginning Low/ Citizenship MTWTh 8:15am to 11:15 am L. Ewing All educational opportunities are available without regard to race, color, national origin, sex or handicap. A lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in educational and vocational programs. Classes failing to meet the minimum required class size will be closed according to Divisional Policy. General Information: Regular Registration: 1. Students may enroll in a branch class at the time and place the class is scheduled to meet. 2. Students enrolling at the Fremont campus should do so in the Adult School Office. High school diploma students must see a counselor and enroll for credit at the same time of registration. 3. Enrollment is scheduled throughout the year. It is never too late to enroll! 4. All classes are offered to the general public. There are no residence requirements. Costs: there is a $10.00 charge per course per term. Persons exempt from the charge are 1) those attending for high school credit. 2)Persons 60 years of age or older, and persons receiving public assistance. Some classes are exempt from this charge. They are 1: elementary subjects 2: English as a Second Language 3: Programs for the handicapped 4: in-service classes. School Fees I.D. Fees: $1.00 Voluntary Picture I.D: $5.00 Class Fees: The following fees represent class material charges Computer Literacy: $5.00 Refunds: No refunds after the 3rd class meeting. There is a drop fee.
