On July 1, 2005, Manual Arts High School was refigured into 9 Small Learning Communities. Each SLC consists of an
assistant principal, a lead teacher coordinator teaching half time, a dedicated counselor, an office
assistant, and approximately 20 teachers and 450 students. Each assistant principals oversees two SLCs.The breakdown of each SLC is forthcoming on this site.

The academies listed below have been folded into a small learning community, while special programs continue to serve the entire school.
