  • COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

    ACCOUNTING - Students learn the fundamentals of double-entry accounting for various types of business organizations. They demonstrate competency by preparing, maintaining, and interpreting accounting records manually and computerize.

    INFORMATION PROCESSING - Students develop information processing skills by using computers for word and data processing applications.

    INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERS - Students develop a basic awareness of the way in which computers work. They will develop skills in keyboarding, word processing and data processing.

    DATA PROCESSING - Students become operationally competent in using computers to process financial management information and accounting system.

    WORD PROCESSING - Students become operationally competent in using word processors and/or microcomputers for word processing applications.

    KEYBOARDING -Students develop the basic keyboarding operation necessary to operate a computer keyboard. They demonstrate competency by using the touch system and develop written communication required basic formatting skills.
