Description of the Unit

In this unit fourth and fifth grade students from Bryant Elementary School in San Francisco prepare to become the school's Junior Webmasters. Selected students create articles and graphics for Bryant's homepages. Students work individually or in pairs on projects, and are mentored by journalism students from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles via e-mail and videoconferencing. The focus of this part of their project is on writing and revising.
