After students and teachers receive and study the advanced materials related to the specific career session, they discuss topics and generate questions of interest for guest panelists. When possible, students visit KCET's web site http://www.kcet.org for more information. Immediately before the actual video telecast, instructors review topic of the conference.

Selected classes attend videoconference and interact with professionals involved in such areas as film and television production, radio, journalism, sports, music, science, advertising, healthcare, and manufacturing. Students and teachers debrief on the event.
