10th Grade
Biology
Using professionals to
inspire the students will also affect his 10th grade regular
biology students. Using its Humanitas program, Manual Arts
attempts to integrate different disciplines. This year they
have 9th, 10th, and 11th grade teams. Gary is teamed with an
English teacher, and together they have developed some
questions for their students to answer that will require
intensive traditional research and field research. The
students will be adding Internet research to the
interdisciplinary project as soon as student Internet access
is expanded in the Science building.
