Congratulations
to our band and color! They are now the 2005 SCSBOA
So. California 1A Champions. They are the first LAUSD school
to win such recognition. And to complete their
competition season, they won their 16th consecutive LAUSD
City Championship title at ELAC. Thanks to all who
came out to show their support. Come out and support

Congratulations to our LA High Academic Decathlon Los
Angeles High School scored big Saturday afternoon at the
2006 LAUSD Academic Decathlon's exciting "Super Quiz"
relay competition, earning a score of 57 out of 60 points
possible. The Jeopardy game-like battle of brains and intellect
pits students and schools in the district against one another.
This year's "Super Quiz" topic was "The European
Renaissance: Renewal and Reform."
