Clubs
As part of our schoolwide
mixing, we offer "clubs" on Fridays for all students.
Teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, administrators, office staff,
and community personnel have all offered Clubs in areas of interest.
Students sign-up for a six-session club that is interesting to
them. Some of the club offerings that have been available are
arts & crafts, basketball, block city, card games, Chinese
culture/language, conflict mediation, cooking around the world,
chorus, creepy crawly things, crochet, discovery science, drama, facepainting,
kitemaking, make-and-take games, mudworks, multicultural
art, origami, papercutting, parachute play, puppetmaking, quilting,
school murals, science fair projects, volleyball, waterworks,
and weaving. Students look forward with enthusiasm to Friday Clubs. |
