This is my favorite band, there is so much to say and share, they are definitely a great influence both in my life and in my music. They have so much material. I have only listed my top 5 favorite albums , and some of my favorite pics here =)
1977-
1979 John Foxx
This is the initial line-up and te beginning of what was to become the quintessential sound of the 80's !!
John Foxx was to embark on his own musical journey on his own, yet this band was more raw and energetic with Foxx's domineering stage presence and creative songwriting. This remains one of my favorites from the early years.
1980
This remains to be my most favorite album, and of course this introduces the vocal stylings of that most dashing dapper Midge Ure which in my opinion took charge to take this great band to new heights.
1981
This is a strong and poignant album for the band, it contains the most beautiful harmonious vocals and arrangements, a bit nostalgic ,sets a precedent for Lament in 1984
1984
This album contains the most deep and sentimental thoughts and feelings conveyed by each member of the band.They share on a social , psychological, and political aspect conveying a sense of connection and succeed in opening the eyes of all listeners.
1982
This album contains the most beautiful and mesmerizing songs, the brilliance and talent of this band shines together with both the collaboration of the great George Martin and the amazing vocals of Midge Ure, this album is a must have!
