The T. S. King Middle School Gifted/High Ability/Technology/ Arts Magnet Program is designed for students in grades 6, 7, and 8. King is a year round school with the magnet program on track "A".
The magnet challenges students of ethnically diverse backgrounds with a rigorous academic program. The curriculum creatively integrates technology and art into the core subjects, as well as elective classes.
Classrooms are equipped with cutting-edge technology where students collaborate to create projects. The curriculum incorporates critical and creative thinking skills, research and study skills, with access to specialized classes in technology and the arts.
