GODS AND GODDESSES

There are many Egyptian gods. All of these gods thought they had animal-like qualities. Some had the strength of a bull or the bravery of a lion. When a lot of time passed they gave goddesses human/animal forms. after many years, the legend of Amon Re the sun-god was created to keep the mythology alive.

The Egyptians believed that the gods and goddesses had human emotions: happiness, sadness, anger, and jealousy. Anubus is a helper, yet he had a dogs' head and a human body. Sobeck was a water god, and he had a crocodiles' head. Nut, looked similar to a huge cow. Many gods had different heads and different things to do. All the gods were different from one another; some of them were nice and some of them were mean.

All of them had animal heads and different bodies. Some names of the goddesses and gods are: Amo,Anubis,Aton,Atum,Bast,Bes,Buto,Geb,Hathor,Horus,Isis,Min,Mut and Sekhment.
