Requirements for Mathematics/Robotics report

Photos:

1. A scanned photograph of the robot should appear somewhere in the report.

 

Writing: For the purposes of this report, a paragraph will be expected to be a minimum of 5 sentences. Correct Spelling and grammar is required.

 

1. The opening paragraph must give a short history of the project (researched using telecommunications)

2. Next give a paragraph as to how the robot works - What it is supposed to do.

3. Next describe two original ways this robot could be used in real life.

4. Following this, write a paragraph describing (and giving examples) how the robot utilizes math.

5. Next write a paragraph showing how the robot is related to science.

6. Now write a paragraph describing what your group learned from this experience that you never knew before.

7. Finally write a paragraph describing what each person contributed (in the way of work) to the report.

 

Charts and graphs:

 

1. A block chart must be included, indicating how many of each color brick was used, the price of each brick and the total price of the bricks. Remember to add sales tax (8.25%) to the total.

2. Use ClarisWorks to make a graph (pie, bar, line or any other appropriate graph) to show the distribution of blocks that were used.

3. Write a check to me for the total amount that you spent to build the project. Then scan this check and shrink it so it fits onto the report.

 

Final check:

 

1. Do a spell check on the report and make sure that everyone in your group reads it and approves of it.
