Mrs. Primus began
her career with the Los Angeles Unified School District in 1979. She first
worked at Bret Harte Middle School until the fall of 2000. After her long
years of work at Bret Harte, Mrs. Primus transferred here to King/Drew as
the tenth grade counselor.
“ From the beginning it’s been great. When I
came to King/Drew it was such a change from being around middle school
students to being around college bound high school students."
It wasn’t
until the spring of 2002, when the former assistant principal, Mrs. Kaplan,
received a promotion, that Mrs. Primus became our new assistant principal. As the assistant principal Mrs. Primus is in charge of the counseling department. She spends long nights and most of her summers making sure every student is correctly programmed. Besides being a counselor, Mrs. Primus, diligently devotes her time getting to know the students. Many have befriended her and come back to visit after graduation. |
