A graduate of Howard University, for ten years at King Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science, Tabitha Thigpen has been a French and Leadership teacher, GATE Coordinator, and for the last three years the Magnet Coordinator in charge of enrollment, recruitment, speakers’ bureau, and our Medicine and Science Careers Program. As our Careers Coordinator, she acts as liaison for the programs relationship with off campus medical and science sites that include Martin Luther King Multi-Services Ambulatory Care Clinic, UCLA Medical Center, Harbor UCLA Medical Center, the VA Medical Center, Charles Drew University, and the Watts Healthcare Corporation.
