Steve Belton, Library Media Teacher, oversees the 3,500-square-foot library on the second floor of the administration building. The library is open school days from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and supports the Jordan curriculum with fiction, nonfiction and reference book sections as well as newspapers, magazines, videos and Internet access. Aide Alex Roston and numerous student workers help order new materials, check out books and answer questions. Plans for 2002 include more computers and automating the catalogue and checkout systems.  Library orientation is held each autumn for incoming ninth-graders. Mr. Belton also sponsors the JHS Sailing Club.
