Downloading Image Files
(Pictures)
Getting your pictures onto your disk or hard drive with cameras that

displayed.
- Open drive E and select all the files that you want to copy to
your disks or hard drive.
- Copy the files (cltr-c) and paste (cltr-v) them onto your
destination disk or into the desired directory.
- Open and edit the files from their new location using image
editing software such as Irfanview.
- Close the E drive folders. See how to properly eject the card
below. You can also delete files from the PC. But it may be more
reliable to delete files from the camera. See deleting instructions

Camera Care
Don't store departmental digital cameras with the batteries inside. The
batteries eventually corrode and damage the camera. Regular alkaline
batteries will also drain very quickly, often after only 40-50 photos.
A better solution would be to purchase Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH)
rechargeable batteries and a recharger from retailers such as
Fry's Electronics or Burbank Electronics. Your department or office
will save money on batteries in the long
run.
Notes: These directions cover how to
connect a Kodak digital camara to a Mac Computer. The basic steps are
going to be the same for a PC, but some of the details are going to be
different. Read your manual for more detailed instructions.
