Our Newest Grant!!! We are excited to announce our latest grant that allows us to bring the ancient Indian Dance/Drama of Kathakali to the students of Jefferson High School. This grant, due in large part to the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, teams the Dramacrats with Radha Carman and the Kerala Dance Theatre of Los Angeles. Our workshops are scheduled to begin in November and will culminate in a traditional Kathakali performance in the first week of December. See more info on Kathakali.

Have you heard? Our fabulous theatre project, thanks in LARGE part again to the City of Los Angeles' Cultural Affairs Department, has turned into an even more incredulous movie deal!

"Bring Students to the Theatre '98" Presented Romeo & Juliet at the Los Angeles Theatre Center to over 6,000 K-12 students from around California. It featured a multi-ethnic cast of professional actors and 17 Drama students from South Central's Jefferson High.
