Data Entry: At the end of elementary school students will be able to--
- demonstrate proper keyboarding position; two-handed keyboarding; home row familiarity.
- demonstrate keyboarding at a rate of 20-25 WPM.
Data Entry: At the end of middle school students will be able to--
- demonstrate "automatic" keyboarding skill-ability to draft at keyboard.

Access Skills: At the end of elementary school students will be able to--
- use Internet to access information
- locate and access information on-site and off-site.
Access Skills: At the end of middle school students will be able to--
- access information using telecommunications on a routine basis.
- be proficient in the use of library databases
- conduct more efficient, sophisticated information searches using logic-based search strategies
- store and retrieve information from a file server
Access Skills: Graduating school students will be able to--
- access information through technological tools (E.G. Internet, including WWW)

Word Processing: At the end of elementary school students will be able to--
- create, edit, save, retrieve and print a document
- become familiar with computer graphics tools and capabilities
- enhance a word processing document using graphics
Word Processing: At the end of middle school students will be able to--
- become familiar with document formatting (margins, tabs, justification, etc.)
- create significant research paper or project utilizing word processing.
- complete specified number of assignments with or through technology.

- develop and print a personal resume.

- develop charting & graphing capabilities in order to solve problems.

- construct and manipulate a simple database.

- demonstrate increased utilization of more advanced computer-based simulations.
- produce interactive media (e.g., Web pages, Hyperstudio).
