At (YES Academy), Hyde Park School all students have access to the computer lab. Computer access are also in the classrooms *note: Ms. Bottom, Mr. Ascencio and Sp. Ed. Assistant, helping students with lessons.

(YES Academy) Hyde Park, students are working on Mr. Anker’s Skills online! They practice skills such as, Language Arts, and Math.

InfoTech 2009 @ The Los Angeles Convention Center!
The most popular booths presented at Info Tech 2009 were the Smartboards! (With or without projector
attachment) The Smartboards also comes with accessories such as Wireless slates where multiple students
interact without leaving their seats. The slate supports simultaneous interaction, so multiple students using slates and
the SMART Board interactive whiteboard can write notes at the same time. Samples of Interactive Science
Smartboard Presentations were given and those teaching lessons in Algebra Readiness, Algebra & Technology.
With so much to see and the people we ran into, InfoTech had a plethora of information for all to see and
learn from! It was a great turn out for our parents and students as well. The workshops were very informative.
We even learned about good nutrition with LAUSD’s own Chef, Mark Baida and student, Ms. Jordan,winner
of her recipe submitted for a contest that was handed down from her family! Down below Mr. Riordan takes
a typing test along with guest of LA’s Best Kids!
