Student Recognition

Holmes International Middle School takes great pride in recognizing the academic accomplishments of our students. We do this by encouraging our students to perform to the best of their abilities and by special awards programs that share their accomplishments with our student body, staff, and various community groups.

ACE Program

* Achievement * Citizenship * Effort *

The purpose of the ACE program is to motivate and reward academic achievement. It is our goal to encourage students to strive to achieve the highest grades possible. For some students this will mean earning B's when they usually earn C's. For others it will mean A's. There will be rewards for all students who earn 2.0 or better and have no Fails, D's, or U's.

Incentives:

ACE T-shirt - given to those with a 3.0 or higher. Worn on Mondays.

There are 3 levels of achievement honored. Each level earns a "card" where the rewards are listed. Each cared is valid for 1 semester only. Students may not have any debts, detentions, or suspensions.
