The original Kid Pix, designed by University of Oregon professor Craig Hickman for his son Ben, was first published by Broderbund Software in March of 1991. Since its first release, Kid Pix has been translated into dozens of languages, such as Hebrew, Finnish, Italian, French, German, Arabic and Korean, to name a few. All told, over ten million kids around the world have used Kid Pix at home or in school.

The popularity of Kid Pix has inspired the creation of other Kid Pix based products such as Kid Cuts, Amazing Writing Machine, Kid Pix Studio Deluxe, and most recently Kid Pix Deluxe 3. This version delivers a vast array of new tools and features while staying true to the spirit of the original Kid Pix: easy to use, fun and innovative art tools for kids of all ages - look for it in your favorite software store or buy it online.
