Message from the Principal

On behalf of the students, faculty, and staff of Gratts Elementary School, I welcome you to our website. The 2003-2004 school year will bring about great changes at Gratts. A number of new faculty members will be joining our staff, a new reading series will be introduced in our K –3 bilingual classrooms, and we will expand our focus on professional development. More importantly, we approach the next phase of our journey together with great anticipation.
Part of the anticipation is the expanded use of our website. We hope to provide members of our school community, and the public at large, with useful information about our school and our school district. As you visit the site, you will find a history of the school, news, events, and resource links. In addition, you will find pages that are under construction. We hope to add a calendar of events, a bulletin board, and other information that can facilitate access to important and relevant information. In addition, we want to give students and parents the opportunity to interact with us. We are evaluating a number of applications and sites that might enhance our site’s interactivity.
