Theatre at Garfield 1986 – 2008
 
Garfield Theatre includes contemporary works from Broadway, Latino theatre, world theatre, original works, Shakespeare and ancient Greek.
 
In addition, students compete in Drama Teachers of Southern California Drama and Shakespeare Festivals, California Educational Theatre H. S. Festival, English-Speaking Union Shakespeare Competition, LAUSD Theatre Festival and the California State Thespian Festival.
