The PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY curriculum is integrated with a rich academic program. The core classes of English, mathematics, science and social studies will focus on their role in the performing arts community, as well as continue to uphold very high academic standards. The Performing Arts Academy is a place where the students can learn, grow and excel.
La ACADEMIA de las BELLAS ARTES combina las clases de musica
– coro y banda, teatro y baile con un programa academico vigoroso. Las
clases basicas de ingles, matemáticas y ciencia se enfocan en las
bellas artes y a la misma vez manteniendo normas altas academicas. La
Academia de Bellas Artes lugar donde los estudiantes aprenden, crecen
y sobresalen.
James S. Catterall, Ph.D., UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies found students involved in the arts showed higher academic performance, increased standardized test scores, more community service, and lower drop-out rates than did those students not involved in the arts.
Young people highly engaged in the arts do better in school.
