Rochelle Labowitz
Magnet Coordinator

Ms. Labowitz holds a B.A. in Design and M.A. in Education from UCLA. A teacher and counselor in LAUSD since 1977, she has taught design, ceramics, crafts, drawing, and art history, as well as English at all grade levels. She earned her Masters in Career and Guidance and Pupil Personnel Credential at Loyola Marymount University. As a counselor, Ms. Labowitz is an advocate of the "whole child" concept, and she hopes to refine the magnet's emphasis on post-secondary college and career options, as well as provide more mentoring and internship opportunities. She is a Fairfax graduate.
